I live on the B9097 & am appalled at the amount of car drivers who pass my house at very high speeds talking on their mobile phones. Speeding is a particularly big problem on Sundays with motor bikers driving at such a speed you sometimes barely see them. Only on nice days i might add. Joggers & cyclists use this road regularly. Personally i would be too scared to walk or cycle on this road. Tried walking once & nearly got run over by a van - had to jump on the grass verge. We moved to this ...

Was woken up by a male voice outside the front of my house at 3am. Looked out the window and saw a police officer standing on my garden wall, waving a torch around at my house and trying to look down the side of my house to the gardens behind. By the time I had put some clothes on he had gone - even though he clearly had seen me he didn't communicate with me in any way about what was going on.

I was nearly killed. The Police had not thought about the danger on the road and there was no speed limit. They did nothing and apparently (as I wrote to them a few weeks ago) have not even got records of the "accident". Road "accidents" do not simply happen, they are a result of police negligence and driver arrogance. Cyclists and pedestrians are the innocent victims....
