Editorial policy

MyPolice is a place where your feedback on police services can make a real difference to how they are run.

But to achieve that aim, we need an editorial policy that governs what we publish and what we won't publish.

So we publish information that is descriptive, truthful and helpful.

And we don't publish spam, commercial content of any kind or information that's irrelevant to helping make the police service better.

We'd also like to avoid swearing, offensive language - and being sued by individuals and organisations.

So however bad your experience may have been, please make your criticism constructive by sharing your ideas or suggestions on how the police could have made your experience better.
